YES AND GOODS is an ever-evolving, eclectic curation of one of a kind vintage and artist made goods all made and sourced by small brands and like-minded people. Smoking accessories, homegoods, jewelry & clothing. -You name it.
HOW’D YOU COME UP WITH THE BIZ?
YAG has honestly been a lifelong dream of mine, I’ve been creating and collecting from a young age. It wasn’t until 2017 that the wheels started really turning though. I was working a fancy “dream” corporate career in fashion in NYC, which seemed awesome but was very much not. I would daydream about what I would do if I was doing what I wanted and how I could get out of my situation. I resorted back to my roots and attempted to sell some of my vintage treasures to make and save money to quit my job. In 2020, post-pandemic I was laid off and knew it was my time to really give it a go for real. I’ve been running YES AND GOODS since.

HOW DID YOUR LOVE OF MUSIC INFLUENCE YOU?
Going to see live music has always been a big energy recharge for me and “Shakedown” is one of my top happy places. -I can be seen wearing something from “the lot” at any given time! I always admired how unique the art is. Every tour I experienced the extravaganza, if you will, and I was amazed all over again at how creative and passionate the artists in my community were. I made it my mission to share the talent of my friends with others, and pass on the excitement felt when coming across a beloved one-of-a-kind piece with others.

Fun fact, “Yes, and” is a nod to improv and Phish. By always saying, “Yes, and” to each other, they allow themselves the space to explore and go far out in their music. Like Phish, I am saying, “Yes, and” to life and exploring whatever comes my way.

WOULD YOU DO IT ALL OVER AGAIN?
OH HELL YES AND GOODS! I have faced many business and personal obstacles along the way but I wouldn’t trade it. I am grateful everyday for the community. Always take a chance and just keep going. The net’s unbreakable, don’t worry about falling. Thank you all so much for your support and the real good time.
