NYC welcomes back the city’s favorite electronic music festival for its 14th run. Set for Labor Day weekend, EZoo debunks the seasonal Northeast mindset, that the festival fun can 100% surpass summertime. And with good reason, as the festival looks to be the launch pad for some new collaborations and unique concepts this year.

Some of the most alluring parts of the lineup can actually be found within a secondary section that features stage take over by some of the biggest names in the game. Tech-house aficionados John Summit and Dom Dolla are pushing their collaborative juices to new heights, officially joining forces under their collaborative, Everything Always concept, which will feature a bespoke stage concept. Chris Lake and Fisher welcome surprise acts yet again and will debut their Under Construction project to world. And one of the more intriguing notes on the lineup introduces, ‘Mega Mirage,’ which will see New York’s hottest live venue jump from Bushwick, Brooklyn to Randall’s island for an expanded and immersive new stage concept.

A special ode to motherhood as Alison Wonderland re-enters the EDM scene after maternity leave! Get a woman who can do both. On the flip, GriZ recently announced an indefinite hiatus from touring the GriZ project, so this may be one of his last – a sad and significant moment in EDM history. He’ll leave on a high note, with three sets that weekend with a headliner, a sunset set and a b2b with Zeds Dead. There are familiar fan favorites like The Chainsmokers and Kaskade, but just as important, one of the driving forces for EDM culture, is the surfacing of underground artists. Consider giving some new artists a listen. We’re hyped for are Cloonee, Honeyluv, and The Blessed Madonna. Experimentation, deep house and transcendence is all we need. It’s time to put EZoo on your calendar and get the playlists rolling.
