Tulum Music Week, typically held in late January, transforms this serene coastal town into a haven for music lovers. The event showcases a diverse range of genres, from the hypnotic beats of techno to the soulful melodies of deep house. The rhythm isn’t confined to the stages; it echoes through the very soul of Tulum, adding a unique layer to the already enchanting atmosphere. 

Zamna Festival

Zamna, renowned as one of the world’s premier multi-day festivals, is gearing up for a monumental return t Tulum this winter. The distinguished festival brand, dedicated to seamlessly blending Tulum’s mystical ambiance with the global allure of house, has experienced a monumental 2023 with events spanning London, Dubai, Miami, New York, Mykonos and more. Within the festival lies some of the world’s best parties, Afterlife on January 4th, Circoloco taking place on January 8th, as well as the new stage addition, Tomorrowland x CORE on January 13th and 20th. 

Featuring performances by acclaimed artists such as Tale of Us, Keinemusik, and FISHER, alongside a two-date showcase of the brand new CORE stage, this year’s Zamna Festival is poised to be its most significant edition to date.

Day Zero Festival 

Throwing down on January 12th is Day Zero Festival, founded by UK DJ and icon Damiann Lazarus. Day Zero is the inaugural jungle festival in Tulum, captivating electronic music enthusiasts with its immersive cultural atmosphere and mesmerizing live production. Throughout its 11-year history, the festival has showcased leading figures in underground house and techno, crafting an indelible experience. Past Zamna performers encompass Major Lazer Sound System, Black Coffee, Jamie Jones, Seth Troxler, The Martinez Brothers, BLOND:ISH and many others. This year, Day Zero welcomes Chloé Calliet, Dennis Cruz, DJ Dennis, Patrick Mason, WhoMadeWho, and more.

EDM.com Insider Access: Music Industry Networking Event 

Beyond the dance floor, attendees have the opportunity to participate in a music industry networking event run by EDM.com on January 8th. ¿Por Que No?

Following triumphant events throughout Canada, Por Que No is poised to make its first appearance in the town that served as the inspiration for this touring jungle party brand – Tulum. Taking place at Buuts Ha, the world’s sole Cenote Club, this distinctive venue guarantees a surreal ambiance amidst natural water-filled sinkholes carved into limestone. It’s an unparalleled setting for a day of unforgettable music and dancing. The party takes place on January 6th and you can expect to see 12 hours of nonstop tribal house and techno. The lineup includes Alain Lopez b2b S.O.T.A., Da Carbone, Paulo Cardoso, and more.
