The Santa Elena Peninsula in Ecuador is renowned as a popular surfing destination, offering a relaxed atmosphere during the day and a vibrant nightlife. On the peninsula is the tropical coastal village of Montañita, chosen as the venue for the first ever Trotamundo Festival. “Trotamundo” translates to “Globetrotter” and further emphasizes the importance of welcoming a vast community of cultures to share a dance floor under the same sky.
Scheduled to run from January 4th to 9th, the festival’s programming will unfold across various nearby locations such as local establishments Lost Beach and Dharma Beach.
The beach sessions will be graced by the sounds of numerous figures in the realms of house and minimal music. Featuring an impressive lineup of over 100 artists, the festival will showcase quality talents such as tINI, Traumer, DJ Masda, Nicola Cruz, Danny Daze, Dyed Soundorom, Our Özer, Cabanne, Maayan Nidam, Nicolas Lutz, Binh, Dana Run, and Gene on Earth.
Trotamundo is organized by the team behind Miami promotor Un_Mute and Lost Bach, in collaboration with other promoters, including ReSolute from New York, Fünk from Mexico City, and Sunrise Events from Romania. Together, they aim to create an unforgettably diverse experience for music lovers in the southern hemisphere.
