Skyline Festival is just one month away, so it’s time to dive in and discover why it might be the must-go festival for you.
The 2-day festival takes place in the heart of Downtown Los Angeles at Gloria Molina Grand Park on February 24th and 25th. The lineup is filled with the sounds of techno and house that have been making monumental moves in the last year. Hosted by Insomniac’s Factory 93 and Day Trip, the weekend-long event welcomes names such as Carl Cox, Mind Against, Adam Ten, Chris Stussy, Marco Carola, Klangkuenstler, Indira Paganotto, among many others. Based on previous Skyline lineups, this year has an emphasis on some harder techno. Although we see more techno this year, there will be a large presence of house and melodic music as well.
Skyline is embellishing the city with what the city is made of – beats and a good party. Previously hosted in Orlando, the event has relocated to another city known to breed and host some of the world’s greatest DJs, proving that their L.A. will cease to disappoint. Insomniac and Skyline LA are big supporters of the Park, powered by The Music Center (a 501(c)3 non-profit organization), according to EDM Life. A portion of all ticket sales from the event will be donated to the servicing and wealth of Gloria Molina Grand Park, ensuring the party people are vibrant and also protecting the city’s most important gems.
So consider heading to L.A. for the end of February. Skyline LA is an opportunity to stray from the winter hostility and find some mojo on the dance floor. This festival guarantees a desirable social community, giving the perfect reason to leave hibernation season. Make new friends, dance partners, and discover the newest hottest mixes.
