In less than a week, the considerable epicenter of EDM in the United States will be hosting yet another 4-day extravaganza, and the unique twist? It’s all happening on sea. From January 24 to 28, Groove Cruise, known as the globe’s largest premier floating dance party, will take the music aboard the Norwegian Encore, marking a milestone in its 20-year history with the latest and grandest ship in tow.
Embarking on a musical odyssey, Groove Cruise promises an unparalleled experience with a lineup of over 70 DJs, themed parties, and an extraordinary dance floor set against the backdrop of the Great Stirrup Cay in the Bahamas—a secluded island exclusively accessible to Norwegian Cruise Line guests.
This year, Groove Cruise has a stellar roster of EDM acts. Headliners include Diplo’s Higher Ground, a private beach soiree with the iconic Tiësto, and the trending John Summit, whose presence is growing fans (perhaps mostly fan girls) across the world. The weekend continues with performances by Kyle Walker, Lilly Palmer, LP Giobbi, Joel Corey, and a lineup that creates a vacation of electronic brilliance.
Beyond the music, Groove Cruise 2024 will be onboarding other experiences, highly desired by hardcore electronic music fans and festival veterans. LP Giobbi’s Femme House will take center stage, hosting a dedicated platform for cutting-edge sounds. For those feeling lucky, hosts Frick Frack Black Jack will cater to the thrill-seekers, providing ample opportunities to indulge in a bit of gambling excitement.
As Groove Cruise sets sail into its third decade, the stage is set for a celebration of, merging the energy of EDM with the thrill of a high-seas adventure. Get ready to dance, unwind, and soak up the sun as Groove Cruise 2024 unfolds its sonic sails on the Norwegian Encore.
Unfortunately, the event is sold out, but don’t let that discourage you from finding second-hand tickets. Or, start planning for next year, as they’re already planning out 2025! Find out more information about the festival here.
